It surprised me how much more time it takes to explain my creative process and document it properly than I originally thought. =P. Rest assured it'll be done at some point.

Right now I'm working on some very basic tutorials and walkthroughs.

Hey man! I found your stuff over on InterfaceLIFT, and they really caught my attention. I'm usually a sucker for high-res nature/landscape photography on my desktop, but your space walls are my current favourites – they look absolutely gorgeous on my MBP Retina screen. Keep 'em coming!

Thanks, that's great! The IPS panels Apple uses really do bring out the color well.

Do you work on a 4K monitor?
Your stuff is very perfect for high res work.
Most of my work looks like crap zoomed in XD

When I get hard-surface objects down and perfect perspective we should do a collab of some ships in orbit or something :D
Keep it up!

Thanks! No, there aren't any color accurate 4K displays yet that aren't insanely expensive. I use two cheap Korean 2560x1440 27" panels.…

Yeah, ~$3k for something that isn't TN :S

I use a Crossover (probably the same panel) as my secondary. Usually a bit more expensive than others but has great build quality.
It makes Cintiqs look like crap with it's clarity.
However, I haven't managed to get my colours quite in sync. Massive blown out Oranges on the Wacom.
I'll probably get a hardware calibrator sometime.

But yeah, high five for Korean brand 1440p!

Definitely! 1440p is the sweet spot right now. I will buy a 4K display next year or that sexy 34 in LG 3440x1440p IPS display.

I love your Andromeda painting - it my current WP on two different computers!  Would you mind if I use it as a header image for a single blog post (it's a post about web development so it's not necessarily relevant, I just need a bit of eye-candy) if I include full credit and a link to your DA/Interfacelift profile?
